Eligibility:Open to all photographers working in traditional, digital or combination of both. Entry and judging categories: Monochrome and Color photography. No photographs previously shown at the Guild will be accepted. Entry Procedure: All work must be hand delivered to the Guild. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 48" on any side (including multi-panel works.) Work must be dry, suitably framed, wired and ready for hanging. No alligator clips or table top frames allowed. Plexiglas is required for all works over 20" x 28." Wraparound canvas must be printed on all sides, without staples. Non-conforming work will be rejected at the discretion of the receiving committee. All artwork must be for sale and remain until show ends. All works must be titled and have a price. The Guild receives a 33 1/3 % commission on all sales. Limit of three entries per artist, but a maximum of two works may be accepted. Submittal does not guarantee entry into the show. Fee: Members- $15 for one entry; $25 for two entries; $35 for three entries. Insurance: Please note: The Guild of Creative Art specifically disclaims any liability for the loss, damage, or theft of any artwork exhibited or stored on its premises. Artists are responsible for insuring their own work from delivery to pick-up and return to artist. Delivery of Pre-Registered Art: One day only, Wednesday, February 29, 2012, noon - 7 pm. Acceptance: Notification of work accepted for the show will be made by e-mail. If you do not have e-mail, you may call the Guild after 3 pm on Friday, March 2. The phone number is 732-741-1441. Awards: Best in Show - $300; Best in Category (Monochrome, Color) - $200 each category; Honorable Mention medals; Bob Grunke Memorial Award for cityscape - $100; Guild Award for Artistic Innovation - $100; additional merit awards to be considered for: macro, landscape, people, places, botanical, animals & still life. All award winners will receive medals. Pick-Up Declines: Saturday, March 3, noon - 4 pm. * End of Show Pick-Up: Thursday, March 29, noon - 7 pm. * * Note: There will be a $2.00 per day charge for late pick-up of declines & at end of show. Works remaining 30 days in storage will be donated to charity. No exceptions.
