Short Description of Event: Individual guidance for artists and photographers on preparing a professional portfolio in his/her chosen medium. For the review, please bring a sufficient number of finished images so the reviewer can determine the artist’s sense of style, technical ability, composition, originality, and consistency. Artwork does not need to be matted or framed, but all art should be completed and at final size. The purpose of this review is to provide assistance for those applicants who intend to submit work for one of the Guild of Creative Art’s semi-annual jury reviews for exhibiting and associate membership or for those artists who wish a personal critique.

Instructor: Laury A. Egan received a BFA in graphic design/photography from Carnegie Mellon University, which included course work in illustration, design, calligraphy, sculpture, and all aspects of printmaking. In addition to this formal study, she learned a great deal about painting from her mother, Agnes Ricks Egan, who exhibited nationally.
