Dorris Crandall works with each student one-on-one to help develop the individual’s existing skills, strengthen perception, experiment with new media or mixed media to expand the student’s personal style.
Biography
Dorris’s graphic art work has appeared in Graphis, Graphis Annual, Art Directors’ Annual, and American Art Directors’ Exhibit in Moscow. She has been a member of the Society of Illustrators, National Arts Club, and the Graphic Arts Guild.
Dorris worked for Conde Nast Publications as Art Director for Vogue and Glamor promotions. She served on the Board of Governors of the Fashion Group for four years. Fashion Group promotions include set design for a project on American Indians in conjunction with the Smithsonian Institute, the State Department, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
