MY CHILD WANTS TO GO TO ART SCHOOL!

Wednesday, January 18, 2012 ~ 7:00 – 9:00 pm
This workshop for high school students and their parents focuses on demystifying the process of applying to art school. It is presented by two certified high school art teachers who have worked with several hundred student applications and portfolios in their combined 30 years of studio art education. All aspects, ranging from choosing artwork for the portfolio, the role of the teacher recommendation, the artist’s statement, and the final presentation will be explored.
Cost: $25 per family (parents and 1 child)
$10 each additional student
This workshop will meet at the Guild of Creative Art and is open to Guild members and non-members
