Ruben Rosado Jr. is a graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. During his years in Rutgers, he became head of public relations for Latin Images and Rutgers Union Estudiantil Puertorriquena. He used his interest in art in order to make posters, banners, backdrops, etc. for these clubs. In Mason Gross School of the Arts, he worked closely under recognized artists Mel Edwards, Tim Bruner, and Lloyd McNeil. Ruben also attended these classes with actor Carlo Aban and artist Kurtis Watkins. He has exhibited in the Mason Gross Civic Square Building Art Gallery, New Brunswick State Theatre, Perth Amboy Art Gallery, Center for Latino Arts and Culture in New Brunswick, and the Guild of Creative Art, Shrewsbury, NJ, where he is an associate member. He has also illustrated books for retired Yale Professor Dr. Felix Padilla and new author, Roberta Writer. He has appeared in the Home News Tribune, Amboy Beacon, and New Brunswick Carta Latina.
