Anne Hruza was born and raised in England and won recognition for her artwork in school. However, school ended at age 16 and she left home to work as a laboratory technician. Armed with a degree in chemistry, Anne moved to Michigan to work as a chemist to “see the world first hand for a couple of years.” Forty+ years later, married, and an American citizen, Anne retired from her position as a Quality Control Manager for a major flavor and fragrance company. Now, with sufficient time available, she enjoys watercolors and photography.
Anne is an active member of the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury and Ocean County Artists Guild. Her love of travel allows her to “see the world one picture at a time.” She and her husband live on Barnegat Bay in Brick, and the ever-changing scenery on the Bay provides a rich source of subject material.
